Natura and Co Reports Strong Q3 Growth, Driven by Natura Brazil and Avon Recovery

Natura

International group of cosmetics companies Natura &Co said it would post strong financial performance in the third quarter of 2024, with strong year-on-year revenue growth, close to R$ 6 billion in constant currency and up 18.5% over the same period last year. The performance actually underlines continued robustness of the operations of the company, especially Latin American operations.

Growth in Natura was led mainly by Natura Brazil, with a 19.4% growth in revenues, and good recovery in the Avon division after its restructuring period. Natura &Co has also reported sound profitability growth, with recurring EBITDA up by 52% to R$ 870 million, with an EBITDA margin of 14.6%.

With such operating performance, the company suffered a loss of R$ 7.0 billion from non-operating activities arising from the deconsolidation of Avon due to its Chapter 11 proceeding. The good thing is that such loss does not impact cash flow; proof of the solidity of the financial structure of Natura &Co.

Natura and Co

Q3 was a great quarter for the consolidation of Natura &Co where, over the last few years, the company has mainly expanded its reach across Latin America and improved margins for its portfolio of brands. That growth continues to reflect the efforts of the company as it continues to consolidate its market position across the region using its rich offerings and improved operational efficiencies.

Natura &Co will now look to deliver its strategic priorities going forward, with a strong focus on strengthening its core markets, driving innovation, and capitalizing on growth opportunities in the global beauty and personal care sectors.

Natura &Co’s Q3 results present a clear recovery trajectory supported by solid growth from Natura Brazil and Avon’s rebound, well-positioned to enjoy sustained growth in the next quarters.
